MUSICIAN OPPORTUNITIES
CALLING ALL MUSICIANS - WILL SERVE FOOD FOR MUSIC The
Pikes Peak Music Volunteers and Downtown Partnership are currently in
the process of signing up musicians and planning this year's Sunday on the Town which will be held in downtown Colorado Springs on Sunday June 3rd.
This is the third year for this extremely popular fundraiser put
on for the benefit of the Downtown Partnership and Colorado Springs
Philharmonic. This is a fun and exciting musical, culinary, and
artistic event. To add to the fun and excitement of the event, we are
again asking musicians to participate by performing at these
restaurants and galleries for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
In exchange, each musician participating will receive a ticket to
the event which will entitle him/her to FREE FOOD at all participating
restaurants. If you choose to perform multiple times you will
receive additional tickets for friends or family members. All
participating musicians will also receive a voucher for free admission
for two to a Colorado Springs Philharmonic performance during the 07-08
season. Last year we had over 100 local musicians who performed
throughout the day. Many of those who participated last year and
the year before have been successful in selling CDs at the event as
well as booking other gigs as a result of having performed. We
hope to see all of you all back this year along with any others who
would like to take part in this extremely successful, highly publicized

benefit Downtown Partnership and Colorado Springs Philharmonic
Orchestra.

HOW MUCH: $30 for general public ($25 in Advance) FREE TO PERFORMERS
NEEDS: Performing volunteer singles, ensembles or bands of all
musical genres to provide live music for participants for 45 min sets
