Background

Pikes Peak Blues Community was founded in 2003 by a group of loyal and dedicated music lovers. Amy Whitesell and Carrie Goodman initiated programming with Paint the Town Blue, Celebration of Our Next Generation, National Act Concerts and many collaborative efforts with local business and other non-profits. Their boundless ideas, energy and enthusiasm along with the support of members, bands and businesses during the first two years launched Pikes Peak Blues Community.  The Pikes Peak Blues Community is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  We are an all volunteer organization with an active committed board of directors and numerous key volunteers who work hard to make sure our mission is gets accomplished.  All activities are funded by donations from the community, from our sponsors and our members.
